  • The Alabama Student Loan Program-KHEEA is the designated guarantor of the Federal Family Education Loan Program (FFELP) for Alabama. The FFELP includes the Federal Stafford Loan (subsidized and unsubsidized), Federal PLUS (for parents), and Federal Consolidation Loan. These loans help make higher education more affordable for thousands of students and families every year.

    In order to receive Stafford loans, a student is required to complete entrance counseling. Students must also complete exit counseling if he/she graduates, withdraws from, or transfers from Huntingdon. Entrance and exit counseling must be done through their Web site.
