Experience the Tradition: The Huntingdon Plan
To complete your Huntingdon experience, each full-time student in the School of Liberal Arts is offered the following as part of the Huntingdon Plan:
- Real Life Liberal Arts—Courses that expand your mind and real-life learning that strengthens your skills;
- Connections—A laptop computer (yours to keep at graduation) connects you instantly for research and communication;
- Exploration—Travel and study with your classmates during your junior or senior year, with most costs covered within regular tuition and fees;
- Personalized Advising—From your First Year Experience (FYEx) forward, use your mentors to connect your course work to your life goals;
- Lead and Serve—Every student group, club, organization, or activity at Huntingdon serves the larger community—you take the lead;
- Know and Be Known—A 15:1 student to faculty ratio, average class sizes of 20 students, and plenty of times and places to gather outside of class extend relationships with faculty beyond the classroom so youll know them as people, and theyll know you.
